Insanity vs Dj Brik Mason

Due to a computer malfunction, i was not able to do Max Interval Circuit by the book.  From memory, i rocked it anyway. I dug deeper.  I remembered the majority of the workout with a few modifications. The sweat was still there. The desire was still there.  The feet hurt a little more.  The living stinks to high heaven but it was worth it.  I will try to do the circuit by the book tomorrow. I added a few sit-ups aka ab work and leg sqauts.  Shaun T, i am still in it. Less cursing today.  Plus i had a salad for dinner. A SALAD.  It was greek. It was delicious.  Thank you BZ Grill.

Insanity vs Dj Brik Mason

After my recovery from the max interval ploy(both muscles and pride), i gathered myself this morning and said DIG Deeper in my inner voice.  Today was Max Interval Conditioning.  I love this one.  Here is why.  The moves in the segment change every single time while still giving you a burn.  I still failed(both tired, sweaty and exhausted as usual) but i was happy about my failure.  Yes, there is some good to the program. I have definitely lost inches in the abdomen.  I think i need to do some weights to make my flab turn to lean muscule.  But Shaun T, i am still cursing at you.  But i am cursing with you.  This was the first video i have seen where Shaun T actually stopped and paused in the middle of an exercise and rested.  He actually RESTED.   Now as an instructor, he gets to run around the gym(please change locations) and yell at other people for not staying with it(they call it motivation, i call it PITA(pain in the ass)).  We can call it rest but not really.  Shaun T, thank you for showing me that human element.  Besides adding a few new faces, Shaun T made my day.  DIG DEEPER.

Sweating. Shirts drenched. Check my instagram.  Late for the train. Week 5. Lets get busy and dig deeper.  Legs tingled as i bleed my way through every new exercise.  Let me restate.  The exercises i learned the first four weeks are now combined with four other exercises.  Some new and some old. For instance, Ski abs to push up jacks to running abs to ski abs.  WTF, Shaun T.   I see i was not really ready for it.  By the way, my big toe hurts.  Solve it Shaun T.

Insanity Vs DJ Brik Mason(Iron Chef DJ)

Week 4. Insanity.  Getting better.  Plyometric this morning.  Whew.  The genius that goes into the last 4 exercises can be called incredible or insane. A bait and switch. oh you are doing so well and improving and then...the dreaded ski abs and in and out abs.  I mean what the f...I will get it one day.  But Shaun T, when i scream in the morning and stomp on the floor and sweat till it hurts, i need a little encouragement. My neighbors have to hate me now.  Grunting and pushing myself to the limit.   Still cursing at Shaun T.  But my heart is pumping and i feel good. One more exercise for week 4 and then recovery week.

Woke up this morning and Pure Cardio was on the membrane. Sure enough, the mind had lead me in the right direction.  I was prepared to sweat.  I was not nervous.  I was ready.  The warm up was fantastic. It made me ready for the work. Shaun T likes to say he is nervous.   But this time i was ready.  I knew everything Shaun T was going to do. I paced myself and switched when Shaun T switched.  I need more room in my living room but i made it work.  I flubbed once which was ok cause it was near the end and Shaun T said i could rest.  Once finished, i felt sweat dripping out of my pores.  Yes, the journey was done but it had only just begun.  Shaun T, i want my T-shirt.

Saw a friend of mine this morning.  KJ to be exact.  She asked me how the program was going?  I explained that it was good but Shaun T puts the toughest exercise at the last part of the workout. Which is true. Mentally it can be exhausting.  However, i forgot to add that after you are on the ground, crying and cursing at Shaun T, he becomes overwhelming simple.  He tells you to rest and then gives a simple exercise to finish the workout.  Still cursing at Shaun T.
